Dean, Nate and I will be at All Tucked In, in Bountiful, Utah this Saturday at 11 am for a Rapunzel's Revenge event. Wigs will be worn.
I got some photos from our terrific event at The Purple Cow in Tooele, Utah. FYI--If you're looking for a signed copy of Rapunzel's Revenge in hardcover, they stocked up.
Dean and I talking about collaboration and being on the Today show.
Sew Sweet quilting shop did a Goose Girl-inspired design for this quilt. I'm wearing a Tooele High sweatshirt, class of '39, which belonged to Dean's grandma, Lorraine Stonebreaker. First female student body VP!
The Teague girls made us homemade cookies. Dolls!
The Wadsworth family came in from Nevada.
The Purple Cow had a poster made just for the event--their signature spokescow in Rapunzel attire. How cool is that?
Look at these great photo of a group of girls reading after getting their books. This is what it's all about!

Yeah! I'll get to see you again. Do I have to wear a wig? :)
I love that quilt. . .

Please entitle a book "Rapunzel's Cow" some day. Perhaps a sequel to Calamity Jack?
And I agree--the quilt is beautiful!

Aren't the Wadsworths coolest family? Talk about girl power!

Oh goodness, my girls (Wadsworth) are so excited to be seen on your blog. Course not quite as excited as they were to meet you both! The trip was definitely worth it. You and Dean were so fun to listen too.
Love the Purple Cow Bookstore!

Any chance you'll come back to the Seattle area? I missed you when you were here with your "torso twin" and I've been kicking myself ever since:)

Looks like fun! I'm loving your braids, Shannon.

Wow, I still wish I could go to some of your events. Too bad I live on the other side of the country in WV. I promise, someday I'll show up. Someday....
That quilt is very good. I love the colors and the little houses on the side. And I love the shirt, Shannon! That's amazing. From 1939...wow. And I love those braids! They look so cute!
Ok, that's enough of me gushing over silly things. One last thing, though. You and Dean have to write another book together. Whether it is a novel or a graphic novel or a children's book that makes kids cry from laughing. I NEED more of that awesome creativity you guys have.

Cute cute cute!

Oh, Miss Shannon! How I wish I could have been at one of your events, so I could have talked to you again and actually met Mr. Dean! I am SO glad that you had a wonderful time!
My sister Hannah and I just finished Rupunzel's Revenge and we LOVED it!!! It was so very different from your other books, but at the same time, very the same! Hannah actually has never read any of your books before, simply because she thought their size intimidating. But when I bought RR for her, she gobbled it up within 3 hours! =) It was AMAZING! Thank you so much for writing a book that voracious readers and slightly more reluctant readers alike can fall in love with! And speaking of falling in love, that Jack is just so cool and sweet!
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you! =)

I'm reading RR to my mom now. I just love that book so much. :)

Rock on, Dr. Sallie! Don't you just love Rapunzel's braids? So, so, so fun, and a great fashion statement to boot! =) Rapunzel's Revenge is sheer brilliance! As are Goose Girl, Enna Burning, River Secrets, Book of a Thousand Days, and Princess Academy! I'm certain that Austenland is, too, but I haven't read that one yet, seeing as it's more of an adult taste book! =)

Stonebreaker? And you got stuck with "hale"? Man, there is no justice in the world. :)
