Pure and delightful awesomeness! Miss Jenni's books sound amazing!! And though I doubt that you and Miss Jenni are really the same person, I totally agree you are both super cute! :)

Q

I loved "Our Only May Amelia".

Erin

Penny From Heaven was an AMAZING BOOK, I knew the instant I read it that it was going to get at least a Newbery Honor - and I was right. :)

I adore the Babymouse series. Babymouse rocks.

Jenni herself is so wonderfully sweet. The lucky bean she gave me will always have a special place on my shelf.

How cool! When browsing through the library a few years ago I found the Boston Jane books. I read for the next two days, only stopping very briefly to sleep, eat, and go to the library (to get the third book.). I'll have to look into the others.

Brooke

Yay! Always glad to see more press for Meatloaf. Vampire Vixens forever!

Little Willow

A great interview with two fantastic ladies. I love Jenny's (and Matthew's) works and will read anything she writes.

Chelsey

These interviews are always so great and fun! And I've found new books to check out!

Jane

I loved her Boston Jane series. Lovely interview!

Burning

Amazing.

Dr. Sallie N. Cheinsteen

These books sound incredible.... I'll be making a trip to the library soon, I hope.

*Don't authors rock?*
I mean, really rock?

Boston Jane is one of my favs! I'll have to take it down from its cozy spot on my shelf and dust it off...I knew a certain book was whispering to me! "Please, read me! Read me! Enjoy me again!" And now my fingers can stop itching to find the right one. Yay!

meag

Can't wait to read these books this summer!!!

Ruby

Fantastic interview! Both Our Only May Amelia and Penny from Heaven are excellent books. I really need to check out Ms Holm's other books.

Thanks for the interview . . . and good luck with obtaining BFF status.

Gretchen

I loved the Boston Jane books! I'm totally looking into the Middle School book, which sounds like it perfectly captures the middle school essence (which is a slightly scary thought in itself).

leahr

that reminds me, I don't think I ever read the last Boston Jane! I own the first two, and I like them. Maybe I'll try some of the other books as well. I've never really read any graphic novels, not that I remember...

Frogster

Wow! I remember reading Our Only May Amelia when I was in 5th grade. It was one of my favorites back then. Then I found the Boston Jane books. They were amazing! I'm going to have to read them again. I wonder if Ms. Holm is going to revisit our wonderful Jane and Jehu...
You always pick such good authors to interview, Shannon. Thanks!

I adore Our Only May Amelia and (the first) Boston Jane. She's an amazing writer. Does anyone else think she looks a little bit like singer-songwriter Jewel? hmm...Thanks for another awesome interview.

Hoho

LOL! Shannon, you and Jenni are both some of my favorite authors! Thanks for posting this interview. It makes me smile :D I think you and Jenni are both (unobjectively) cute ;)
